As is often becoming the case in major European cities, Venice is quickly dissolving into a museum city, no longer inhabited by ordinary citizens due its high cost of living. But is civilization ready to turn its back on one of its most beautiful creations?

The question poised by the 2g competition was “how can humanity re-colonize Venice while simultaneously integrating its entire 400k² lagoon?”
