6.17.24 – View – What can attachments have on a project, how link to a people and a time (how high?)
These and other questions are explored in the new coming series.

7.27.24 – Layered Horizontals – Bringing nature back in.
5.27.24 – Scandanavian Getaway – The Nords have a unique and dynamic connection with nature, where a considerable drive to bring landscape within the home makes for highly intimate & unique moments. Folly focal in the background (centerpiece).

5.27.24 – Scandanavian Getaway – How can connections, light, and entry impact overall experience??
5.20.24 – New Projects – The difficulty in utilizing standards in Revit cannot be understated: a plan for how new buildings interact with the old, is critical.
4.2.24 – Sketches – Images made from Revit can be fun too!

2.19.17 – Construction Progress
5.20.15 – New updates, and expanded residential funitutde!!!! – New updates, and expanded residential funitutde!!!!: 1.7.15 – Now this is starting to look like a good ole’ fashioned resume Will also be updating the website this week, to more align with the Sustainability and Technical focus that seems to be my ’emerging expertise’. THE (current) PROCESS:
Orientation & syncronicity *(& layers) become key.
The Studio seeks to explore each of the below critical areas in the following section: this is the framework by which we build by.
——–
——–So
——-The List:
- Approach: On how people consider the work from afar (and/or even what they consider in how they arrive)
- Entry: How to divide the outside world from the newly crafted environment within.
- Materials: A critical facet of all architecture.
- Decompression: This is the point where you come from the outside world into ours. Relax, kick back; stay awhile.
- The ‘Experience’: This is the central ‘effect’ or ‘feeling’ of the overall place (and likely can change from project to project). This will be the main essay/point of our project.
- The Centerpiece / Focal Point: All great homes/spaces . It is our opinion that a seasonal ‘display area’, either for art or perennial plants, or to show off something personal for the place, can be a critical
- Wandering About (to Consider!): taking time in/to consider a space, from many different angles and times of day is what makes architecture architecture. From little unseen moments or layers in early morning, to fantastic flavors at sunset, this is where experience truly comes alive.
- Materials (again): We cannot reiterate how important materials consideration within a good project can and should be. Society deserves healthy, considered (and often biophilia) spaces that nurture and foster the best in and of us. (This cannot be underlined/stated enough!)
- The Leaving: All good things must come to an end, and depending on what clients seek, we strive to have them consider what they want to take from their project, their home.
- (One Glance Back?): Because sometimes, its hard not to!!

THE GOAL:
Orientation & syncronicity *(& layers) become key.
Studio Weiss follows the typical 5 step “see-it-to-believe-it” process!
As designers deeply rooted in local inspiration and attainable traditions, our designs seamlessly blend the essence of our surroundings with innovative visions for the next generation. With a commitment to quality, we ensure that every project reflects our dedication to using the finest materials and integrating cutting-edge technology at every possible juncture. Frank Lloyd Wright split his time between his ‘labratorys’ of Taliesin East & West: in the Same Spirit, we at Studio Weiss look forward to the day when we can take our talents as a ‘central showpiece’ back to our native lands, giving back to our homesteads to both inspire the next generation, as well as
Our creations not only stand as testaments to our craft, but also contribute to the evolving tapestry of architectural excellence.
